What Co-Managed IT Services Cover

Co-managed IT services split daily IT operations between your in-house team and our engineers, bought by service line rather than as a single bundle: shared service desk and after-hours cover, infrastructure operations, patch and vulnerability cycles, backup and restore verification, endpoint lifecycle, SaaS and identity administration, and security monitoring. You hand over the lines your team is drowning in and keep the rest. Every system gets a named owner, a named change approver, and a written escalation path your IT lead signs before we touch a ticket. Coverage windows are set per line during scoping: overflow, extended hours, or 24×7.

Technologies We Work With

Our engineering expertise spans the platforms, frameworks, and protocols enterprises are actually standardizing on right now.

Smarter Systems.
Faster Decisions.

We build with the same models and protocols now standard in production agentic AI, not last year’s chatbot stack. Multi-agent orchestration and governance are part of the build, not an afterthought.

Written to Last.
Not Just Shipped.

AI writes a growing share of the code today. Our engineers still own the architecture it lands in, the part that decides whether a system holds up in year three, not just at launch.

Always Deploying.
Never Guessing.

Platform engineering and FinOps discipline keep releases moving fast and the cloud bill explainable, tied to what’s actually driving cost, not a surprise at month’s end.

Trusted Data.
Traceable Always.

Manual data cleanup is disappearing into automation. What’s left, lineage, governance, and integration your team can actually audit, is where we put senior engineers.

On Call.
Even When You're Not.

Predictive monitoring catches most incidents before an alert fires. When one does reach a person, it’s already been triaged, not sitting in a queue.

Our Co-Managed IT Services

Seven service lines, each scoped and priced on its own. Take what your team needs.

Shared service desk and after-hours cover

Tier 1 overflow and out-of-hours triage inside your existing queue, working your categories and your SLAs. Tier 2 escalation routes back to your team by documented rule, not by judgment call, so your engineers stop being the only people who can answer the phone at midnight.

Server and infrastructure operations

Capacity and performance monitoring, alert tuning that cuts noise instead of forwarding it, and routine maintenance on your servers and core infrastructure. We watch the systems your business runs on and act on what the monitoring actually says.

Patch and vulnerability management

Patch rings, scheduled maintenance windows, and vulnerability remediation tracked to closure rather than logged and forgotten. Patch compliance is reported with dates, so the number holds up when an auditor or your board asks for it.

Backup and restore verification

Backups tested with a real restore on a schedule, not assumed to work until the day you need them. Restore times are measured and documented, so recovery is a known quantity rather than a hope.

Endpoint and asset lifecycle

Imaging, enrollment, warranty and refresh tracking, and a hardware register that matches what is actually on desks. That register is usually the first thing an audit finds missing, and the first thing offboarding depends on.

SaaS and identity administration

Tenant administration, license reclamation, joiner and leaver workflows, and access reviews. Offboarding closes the same day instead of surfacing during the next access certification, and reclaimed licenses stop quietly inflating your renewal.

Security monitoring and escalation

Detection triage, containment steps agreed in advance, and a documented handoff to your security owner. This coverage supplements your security function and does not silently become it, a boundary we write down rather than assume.

The RCV Delivery Model™

One structured approach – from focused services to full IT operations.

01

Diagnose

We audit your estate, existing infrastructure, and your use case before committing to a coverage plan- the step most providers skip on the way to a contract.

02

Design & Capability Match

Coverage boundaries, guardrails, and team composition get signed off with your stakeholders before we touch a ticket in production.

03

Mobilize & Deliver

Agile, disciplined delivery with the monitoring, documentation, and runbooks your production systems need, beyond what a break-fix ticket can carry.

04

Govern & Optimize

Governance isn’t a status meeting. It’s executive steering, a live risk register, quality gates, and value tracking on every engagement.

05

Transition & Scale

Knowledge transfer, operational hypercare, and a plan for scaling the coverage or handing a service line back in-house, once it’s proven in production.

One Framework, Three Shapes.

Every engagement runs on the RCV Delivery Model™ underneath. Which shape it takes for your AI Solutions build depends on the problem, not a package we default to.

Model Best Fit When What You Get Buyer Proof Artifact

RCV Outcome Delivery Pods

A new AI feature or product needs to prove measurable value, not just ship
KPI framing, a product pod, delivery analytics, value reviews, release telemetry
Product KPI scorecard and release-health dashboard

RCV Platform Accelerator

An AI capability needs to be reusable across teams, not built once and abandoned
Platform diagnostic, foundation sprint, golden paths, onboarding, adoption telemetry
Platform catalog, adoption metrics, golden-path demo

RCV Governance Assurance Model

An AI program runs in a complex, regulated, or multi-vendor environment
Governance handbook, cadence map, RAID log, quality gates, architecture controls, transition pack
Real dashboard pack, escalation matrix, sample exit/transfer pack

Who this is for

Problems at this scale usually aren’t about capability. They’re about capacity, ownership, and change control.

A good fit if… Probably not a fit if…
You have an internal IT lead who will own the relationship and approve change

You want to close the internal IT function entirely, in which case fully managed IT support is the honest call; see IT Support & Managed IT

Ticket volume and on-call rotation are the bottleneck, not capability

Nobody internally can sign a responsibility split per system, which every co-managed engagement fails without

You have an audit, certification, or reliability commitment that needs evidence

You need one-off break-fix on hardware with no ongoing operational scope

You want monitoring, ticketing, and documentation to stay in your tenant

You just need extra headcount on a team already running; see IT Staff Augmentation

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to what enterprise and fast-scaling buyers ask most.

Co-managed IT services divide operational responsibility between your existing IT team and our engineers, with the split written down per system. Fully managed IT hands over the whole environment, including strategy, vendor relationships, and change authority. The practical difference shows on exit. In a co-managed arrangement, your documentation, tooling, and history stay in your tenant, so taking a service line back in-house is a planned transition rather than a rebuild. In a fully outsourced arrangement, most of that knowledge leaves with the contract. We build co-managed IT for teams that are capable but under-resourced, and we'll tell you plainly when full outsourcing is the better call.

You do, wherever licensing permits. Our engineers work inside your service management platform, your monitoring stack, and your documentation system, and anything we stand up is provisioned in your tenant under your license, not ours. A shared toolset would be cheaper for a provider to run, but it is also the most common source of lock-in in this market: a client who cannot leave because two years of tickets, runbooks, and asset history live in a platform they never had an account on. Tooling ownership is confirmed in writing during Design & Capability Match, before any credentials are issued.

By a responsibility matrix built per system, not per role. Each system in scope gets a named owner for routine operations, a named approver for change, and a documented escalation path with a time threshold attached. Your IT lead approves that matrix before coverage begins. In a typical arrangement, we hold first-line triage and after-hours escalation, patch execution, monitoring response, and backup verification, while your team keeps architecture decisions, vendor management, business-facing prioritization, and final change approval. We review the matrix monthly, because the split that made sense at onboarding rarely survives the first quarter unchanged.

Cost depends on scope: how many service lines you take, the coverage window on each, endpoint and server count, and whether we build a tooling baseline before coverage starts. An extended-hours service-desk overflow on a documented estate is a smaller footprint than a 24x7 arrangement across service desk, infrastructure, and security monitoring with no current documentation. Pricing scales with those factors, not a flat per-seat rate card. The fastest way to a real number is a scoping call where we review your ticket data and estate, or the cost calculator for a directional estimate before that call.

Onboarding runs 3 to 6 weeks for a single service line on a documented estate, and 8 to 12 weeks where documentation has to be reconstructed or a monitoring and patch baseline built first. The sequence is fixed: estate and ticket audit, responsibility matrix sign-off, tooling access, documentation baseline, alert tuning, then a shadow period where our engineers work the queue alongside your team without owning it. Coverage goes live at the end of that period, against a completion checklist your IT lead signs. We don't skip the shadow period; the two weeks it saves reliably cost more in the first month of live coverage.

The model is built on the opposite premise. Co-managed IT services take the work that consumes senior capacity without using senior skill: password resets at 11 p.m., patch execution, license reclamation, monitoring noise. Your team keeps architecture, vendor negotiation, project work, and the institutional knowledge no external team accumulates as fast. If headcount reduction is the real objective, that is a fully outsourced engagement, and we'll scope it as one. Presenting it as co-managed produces an arrangement your team quietly resists, and resistance from the people holding the credentials is how these engagements fail.

We treat audit evidence as a delivery output, not a report generated the week before an assessment. Coverage under the RCV Governance Assurance Model produces dated patch compliance records, tested restore logs, access review completions, change approvals tied to named approvers, and an incident timeline for every escalation. Those artifacts live in your systems, so your auditor reads them from your platform rather than accepting a provider summary. We don't sign your attestation or act as your compliance function. We operate so the evidence exists when the assessor asks, and we hand your team the records to present.

The monthly governance review exists to surface this early, using defined measures: escalations that reached your team unnecessarily, time to close in the covered window, patch and restore compliance, and repeat incidents. Where a service line isn't delivering, we re-scope or withdraw it rather than defend it. Exit terms are set at contract, not under pressure later. Your data, documentation, and tooling already sit in your tenant, credentials are revoked on a schedule, and we run a handover so your team or an incoming provider inherits runbooks rather than a gap. No exit fee attaches to leaving.

Start With a Scoping Call, Not a Sales Deck

Book a scoping call with an RCV World engineer, not a salesperson. Bring your ticket data, your estate size, and the project that keeps slipping. The call ends with a plain answer on whether co-managed IT services would clear your bottleneck, or whether staffing or a fully managed arrangement fits your situation better.
